What a week at Royal Birkdale. Drama, controversy, and a champion who absolutely deserved to lift the Claret Jug.

Ryan Fox, the 39‑year‑old Kiwi, did something special. He shot a final‑round 68 to finish at 10‑under‑par, and that birdie on the 18th? Pure ice in his veins.
